Will I need to provide you with a deposit for the replacement vehicle?

No! no deposits are taken before the replacement vehicles are provided.

Are there any limitations as to usage of the hire vehicle?

The insurance on the hire vehicle will cover: business purposes, commuting, social, domestic and pleasure use. We recommend that you discuss any special requirements with our customer services team.

What is the insurance cover on the hire vehicle?

All damage to the vehicle is covered with a Collision damage waiver. You are also insured for your legal responsibility if there is an accident which involves the hire vehicle.
If the vehicle is stolen whilst in your care, you will be asked to pay any unrecovered excess set by our customer services team

Are there any restrictions on the age, experience or other factors imposed by the insurer of the hire?

There is no upper age restriction nor are there any driving license restrictions as long as you are legally able to ride. You must hold the correct license for the vehicle you are looking to hire.
For drivers who are 16 years old, we can provide you with a 50cc bike only.

Is there a mileage restriction on the number of miles I can travel on the hire bike?

There is no mileage restriction. If you cover excessive miles then let our team know. We may need to swap for another bike if it is due a service.

How long will I have use of the hire vehicle?

You will have usage of the hire vehicle for as long as you need it.

Will I have to sign any paperwork?

Yes; you will need to sign a hire agreement and a vehicle check form with our provider. Our customer services team will talk you through the hire agreement before you sign it, you wil also received a copy with our terms and conditions.

Are additional drivers allowed to drive the hire vehicle?

Yes; please discuss this with our customer services team as special conditions may apply.

Will I need to pick the hire vehicle up?

No; we will deliver anywhere on the mainland in the UK.

The Legal Part

Terms & Conditions

  • Hirer’s must be over 17 year old or the minimum age legally required to ride the capacity of bike requested
  • No deposit is required for the provision of credit hire
  • We understand that you may not know when you need to return the hire to us so there is no minimum period of hire and you may extend hire to the point that your original vehicle is repaired or a payment to you for the agreed value of your original vehicle (should it not be repairable) has been made into your bank account.
  • It is expressly forbidden to use any of our vehicles for competition, rally, trial, track day, motocross, enduro events, performance test, race of trial of speed whether between motor vehicles or otherwise.
  • A collision damage waiver is mandatory on all hire’s which has £0 excess in the event of an accident or damage.
  • Theft of the vehicle will result in an excess charge of £500
  • The Hirer will notify the us immediately in the event of anything happening to the bike such as theft, fire or damage whether accidental or not
  • There are restrictions imposed by our insurers, which mean that we are unfortunately unable to hire to persons in certain occupational areas. These include professional entertainers, professional sports persons, publicans, nightclub owners and owners of gaming establishments.
  • Before any hires commence the hirer must provide his/her full driving license, provisional license and or CBT certificate if applicable
  • The hirer must inform us of any convictions they have or accidents they have been involved in. In the majority of cases we will be able to provide hire.
  • All speeding tickets, parking fines, congestion charges, toll charges and any other chargeable offense are the responsibility of the hirer.
  • The hirer must pay for all petrol used during the hire
  • EU travel or pillion cover is available on request.
  • We limit our liability for any breach of our Rental Agreement (and for any other liability arising out of or connected to our Rental Agreement) to the amount of the Rental Contract. We expressly exclude all liability for loss of profit, goodwill or contracts and for any indirect, consequential or economic loss.
  • Our Rental Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
